Petition to Fire Greg RobinsonScore: 136October 3, 2009 4:08 pm
Let me start with this, I love Michigan! I have watched every second of every game this year, like any other year, except for this last game against MSU, it wasn't on in my area.
As a result I had to listen to the game here and suffer through the Spartan commentators. Enough rambling, Greg Robinson was not good enough for Syracuse and that means he is not nearly good enough for Michigan!I understand that he is working with mostly Freshman and Sophomores; however, the only offense he was able to control was Western Michigan! We need a man who knows how to disguise blitz and cover packages and keep the offense on their heels instead of the other way around. I'd like to see the defense use different formations and pressure schemes to force the action to their two best defensive players Graham and Warren. Rich Rod's offense is more successful when it can get into a rhythm, and it can't get into a rhythm when they are sitting on the sidelines for 8 mintues at a time while the defense allows the oppoent to drive down the field before Robindon decides to bring extra pressure, especially on 3rd down. In a perfect world, Nebraska would fire Bo Pelini and we would be able to bring him in to run the defense. Category: NCAAF |

Petition to Fire Greg Robinson
Score: 161I cannot believe what I am seeing in the PSU game. I am almost shrieking at my television to RR, if you don't fire that idiot Greg Robinson, you are going to get fired. As an alumnus of the University of Michigan I am absolutely embarrassed and it is only halftime! For every alum's sake, please fire Greg Robinson. I happen to think you are a good coach RR, but your ass is grass if you don't hang this on the "Curse of Syracuse". I am actually driving from Wisconsin to West Lafayette next Saturday, and I do not want to have wasted my time getting tickets and then getting abused by scornful and prideful Boilermakers. Gads, at least let's get somewhat respectful on the defensive side of the ball. And what about that fumble on the kickoff at the freaking 2 yard line, and the miserable kickers. Hell, my 17 year old son kicked a 46 yarder in his last high school game and can at least kick it to the 5 yard line. Just embarrassing, absolutely miserable.
